Galileo proudly introduces the Galileo SC-1 Digital Scouting Camera. This new and innovative product from Galileo is sure to be a staple for today's hunter. The Galileo Scouting Camera when strapped to a nearby tree will constantly monitor an area with its Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR). The PIR activates the embedded 2 Mega Pixel (and flash bulb in low light i.e. night time settings) sensor when it detects motion and /or heat changes in its field of view. When snapping images of all game that comes into the area with time and date stamping, you'll know exactly what's coming into the area and when.
The Camera itself is a 2 Mega Pixel digital camera for high quality photos with 16MB of internal memory and an SD Memory slot for memory expansion up to 1GB. Images can be captured as a single still image, 2 or 3 continuous shots, or can even be set to record video of passing game. The time and date stamping feature can also be configured at setup time. The PIR sensor has a range of 90ft. and the flash bulb has an effective range of 30ft. A Heavy duty nylon strap is included for attaching the Scouting Camera to a tree or other object in the surrounding environment. The Galileo SC-1 Scouting Camera, like all Galileo products, is built with "The Galileo Difference" so you know that high quality optics is what you will be getting.
