The G-203 is the only 900mm x 203mm Newtonian telescope on the market today. The Galileo G-203 has a massive 8″ (203mm) parabolic mirror that soaks up every ray of light for bright, crisp images. The G-203 is designed for serious star gazing in mind. The only thing larger than the G-203, is its ability to perform. Parabolic design and fast F-Ratio (F4.4) make it an incredible instrument for observing deep sky objects such as nebulae and galaxies. The G-203 comes on a Heavy Duty German equatorial mount with built in Electronic Illuminated Polar Finder for obtaining a precision polar alignment. The primary mirror cell is a parabolic design to eliminate spherical aberration. The telescopes optical tube assembly is finished out with a large 2″ format focus tube. 2″ to 1¼″ adapter is included as well.

The Galileo G-203 optical tube assembly features a 900mm focal length. The Primary mirror is a 203mm heavy duty parabolic mirror cell with push / pull collimation screws. The primary mirror is aluminized with Silicon Monoxide Quartz overcoat providing 92% reflectivity and a resolving power of .57 arc seconds. The secondary mirror has an obstruction of approximately 25% linear (approximately 6% of the total area). The optical tube assembly is diffraction limited at λ4 (1/4 wave in Sodium light). The finderscope is an 8 x 50mm ST finder with removable dovetail bracket. Included with the G-203 are a 1¼″ 6.5mm Plössl eyepiece, a 1¼″ 20mm Plössl eyepiece. Both Plössl eyepieces are 4 element, fully color corrected eyepieces and have apparent fields of view of 52°.
